The desert right before Los Angeles

Our friends that had the intention of meeting us in Joshua Tee ran out of funds in Bishop California on their climbing trip. So we decided to go through Los Angeles. After traveling through 400km of intermittent cities we finally made it to La Playa De Tijuana in Mexico. We are giving ourselves about 2 weeks to arrive in La Plaz (in southern Mexico).

I am really happy to have passed Los Angeles. People were discouraging us to travel trough this city for 2 reasons: the fact of the 170km to travel through it and there are several areas not safe to stay in. With my luck we stayed in one of them.

After Los Angeles, we finally passed through customs… thinking that I would have to show my passport…what customs…we actually just walked through it. The line up to enter the states was half way into Tijuana.

Do no ass!!

For the most part we were surrounded by cities so I didn’t take so many pictures…but don’t worry once in Mexico I will be sending you some.
